CENTERED The perfect Yin to Strong's Yang, a mostly floor based practice and longer holds in poses to work on the connective tissue and meridian lines of the body. Regulating energy flow, lubricating joints and increasing mobility this practice calms the nervous system and helps balance the whole body mind system. A less physically challenging class, but often more challenging for the mind. Working with the breath for a nourishing meditative experience while we go deep within to move in new centered ways and shift through tightness and blockages within the physical body and fixations in the mind. JIVAMUKTI In Jivamukti Yoga the spiritual teachings of yoga are linked with the more physical practise (asana).Jivamukti Yoga was founded by Sharon Gannon and David Life in 1984 in New York. It is a Yoga method that is based on a strong Vinyasa Practice (connecting intention and movement via the breath).
